First time on the scales since the beginning of August, and nice to see that I've actually lost a couple of pounds since then. The first mini target is 227lbs (dropping 5lbs) to get me out of the rather scary
obese category on the
BMI, and into the slightly less scary
overweight section. Then the real struggle begins.
The morning toast saw off the last of the bread, so I had to make more after breakfast. This hadn't risen enough by the time we'd finish moving muck (see next entry), so I stuck it in the oven as soon as I lit it, and it was done to a turn by the time the soup was ready. Had to adapt the soup a little, no cream obviously, but was surprised it still only came to 2 points. Mrs R made the chick pea and chard thingy tonight, and we finished off nearly our entire annual beetroot crop.
